Brand and Content Manager

Job description:

We are looking for a hands-on and driven Brand Manager (approx. 75%) to take operational responsibility for one of our key brands, combined with a Content Manager role (approx. 25%) supporting all brands within East Capital Group. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience looking to grow their skills in brand management, production management, content creation, and digital communication.  

You will join a collaborative and dynamic team of experienced marketing professionals who work across the full marketing spectrum, including Media, PR, Events, Project and Website Management, and Internal Communication. The team values creativity, teamwork, and a proactive approach. You will have the opportunity to learn, contribute, and develop within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

You will be reporting to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.

 

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Brand Manager – Dedicated to One Brand (Approx. 75%)

Key Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders connected to the brand’s core team, ensuring alignment on messaging, priorities, and deliverables. 

Operational Support: Coordinate and execute day-to-day marketing and communication activities, such as periodicals, content development and distribution and events, ensuring consistency with the brand’s tone and identity. Social Media Management: Develop, coordinate, and publish social media content that aligns with the brand's objectives and engages target audiences. Content on Owned Channels: Oversee and update brand-related content on owned channels such as the website, intranet, and newsletters, ensuring accuracy, quality, and alignment with ongoing initiatives. Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of digital and physical events, ensuring deliverables are met, including invitations, materials, and follow-up communication. Content Collaboration: Work with the team to produce and distribute materials such as market updates, client-focused messages, and branded presentations. Performance Tracking: Monitor timelines, deliverables, and the impact of activities, gathering insights to contribute to the continuous improvement of projects. 

Content Manager – Across All East Capital Group Brands (Approx. 25%)

Together with the East Capital Group Marketing team: Work with Content Creation & Coordination: Plan, write, edit, and distribute content across key platforms. Work with day-to-day website updating, SEO optimization and distribution of content across channels – social media, owned channels, internal channels, etc and follow-up initiatives with performance analytics using tools such as google or other content effectiveness tools to gather learning and recommend improvements. Editorial Calendar: Maintain a structured editorial calendar to align content initiatives, ensuring messaging is harmonized across channels and brands.

Qualifications / skills

  • Relevant higher education or university degree in communication, marketing, or a related field with approximately 3 years of experience in marketing, content management, or digital communication.
  • Strong writing and editing skills in both Swedish and English, with an eye for detail and consistency.
  • Experience managing social media content, digital platforms, and basic website updates.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, content management systems (CMS), and social media insights platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Analytics).
  • Highly organized with the ability to coordinate projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience in the asset management or financial services industry is a plus but not required.
