Oversight intern

We are looking for a dedicated and driven Oversight intern to assist us with both liaising and cooperate with internal parties and external service providers to ensure all operational and product related processes run smoothly. 

The work includes continuous contacts with brokers, administrators, custodian banks as well as with the internal investment management and trading department teams. You need to be equally comfortable dealing with systems as well as individuals.

The ideal candidate will feel comfortable in a diversified role capable of tackling a range of activities including participation in product related projects as well as daily routine operations and static data maintenance. A technical and system experience will allow you to take a positive and pragmatic approach to problem solving.

Eligibility and profile

As a successful candidate you are at least finishing your bachelor’s degree, preferably a last year master’s student.

Economics, Finance and Engineering fields of study are considered a preferential factor and to succeed you must have a genuine interest in the financial markets and asset management.

Qualifications

• Trade settlement and cash management experience is preferential.
• Experience with Bloomberg, front-office systems and/or corporate banking portals is considered a plus.
• Previous experience from working in a Back- or Middle-Office role is also considered a plus.
• Hands on experience with MS Office, and specifically good knowledge of MS Excel is required. Fluent in English and Swedish
• Attention to detail

• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Proactive self-starter with desire to learn, grow, and be challenged
• Demonstrated ability to work within an evolving and dynamic environment

This is a temporary that is paid on hourly basis. Although this is a summer internship, an earlier start date i.e April/May would be a plus.
