Technical Director / Head of Design and Construction

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for construction excellence?

East Capital Real Estate builds Estonia’s largest logistics park in Rae municipality and is looking for a Technical Director responsible for managing the design and construction process. Park Rae is a new development project for logistics and light industry – a 140,000-square-meter logistics centre which will be located on a 30-hectare land plot next to Tallinn in Rae municipality. The objective is to make Park Rae stand out not only with its great location and top-ot-the line technical solutions, but also with attractive architecture, the best sustainable solutions and as a great place to work for future tenants and their staff.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical leadership and oversight for all construction activities.

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless project execution.

- Implement and optimize construction technologies to enhance efficiency and quality.

- Establish and uphold our high standards for construction quality and safety.

- Provide expert guidance on material selection, equipment usage, and construction processes.

- Develop detailed project budgets and control them as the project proceeds

Candidates should have:

- at least Bachelor’s (preferably masters) degree in civil engineering, architecture, or related field.

- Proven experience of a minimum 10 years in construction management and technical leadership.         

- Strong knowledge of construction technologies and emerging industry trends.

-  Ability to take initiatives and handle multiple tasks, with an attention to detail 

- Excellent project management and communication skills.

-  Full professional proficiency in Estonian and English, additional languages are a merit.

- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and drive results.

-  Great all-round communicator, with effective verbal and written communication skills which will enable you to build and develop strong relationships within the organisation and key stakeholders.
