Job Overview – Head of Group Accounting

We are looking for a driven and experienced accountant to join our dynamic finance function to contribute to our mission of driving sustainable growth. If you are a strategic and hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic and regulated environment then this is an opportunity for you! 

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for accounting, financial statements, and annual reports for the parent company and subsidiaries
• Consolidation of the group’s financial reporting in accordance with K3 or IFRS (depending on structure)
• Responsibility for tax and VAT reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations (including those from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority)
• Liaison with auditors, authorities, banks and external accounting firm
• Drive improvement and digitalization projects within accounting and reporting

Successful Candidate

Ideally you are someone who has strong self-leadership, takes full ownership of your work, and deliver with full precision. You have good collaboration skills and are good at different systems. As a person, you are also meticulous in your work, used to delivering according to deadlines and are service-oriented in your contact with colleagues. Last but not least, we would love to see that you are used to and comfortable with working independently in a fast-paced and high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent relevant education
• At least 5–7 years of qualified accounting experience, including several years in a leadership role
• Solid experience in group accounting and financial regulations
• Industry experience from financial services, investment companies, or similar is highly meritorious
• Excellent proficiency in Excel and experience with financial systems Visma.Net
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
