Legal Counsel

We are looking for a talented and motivated Legal Counsel to join our team.

 

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Independently handle legal matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts such as NDAs, SPAs, distribution and service agreements, etc.

· Assist with board/shareholders’ meetings

· Provide legal support for M&A transactions

· Assist with regulatory filings and communication with Bolagsverket, Finansinspektionen

· Lead and support other projects linked with the East Capital Group’s activities

· Research on complex legislative and regulatory matters

 

Qualifications / skills

· LL.M degree

· 3-4 years of relevant legal experience

· Proven ability to work independently on legal matters

· Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English

· Excellent communication and cooperative skills

· Experience with regulated financial entities and knowledge of MiFID II, SFDR, UCITS and similar framework is a plus

You need to be confident with yourself and able to stand by your findings and legal opinions in conversation with senior colleagues and third parties. Having good interpersonal and communication skills will therefore be a great advantage.
